Cains Sponsorship Produces Winners 2nd September 2009
Cains have sponsored the Junior Section of Ramsey Golf Club since 2003; the Junior Section now boasts a membership in excess of 80 boys and girls and this year, led by their Captain Daniel Callow, the Junior Scratch team have won the individual competition on the day at Castletown to secure maximum points for the Ramsey team.
Pictured below is a group of the Ramsey Junior Section who recently completed in a club competition together with Martin Webb, a representative of Cains and also Malcolm Callow, the coach in charge of the Junior Section with other assistants, Neil Rawlinson and Joy Phelan. Martin commented “Cains continuing sponsorship since 2003 has encouraged young boys and girls to take up golf and also put Ramsey Junior Golf back on the map and I congratulate all concerned”. Malcolm Callow followed “We very much appreciate Cains’ sponsorship and thank them for their generous support over the last few years which has helped Ramsey Golf Club to have a very talented Junior membership”.
